Liberate I.T.
Branding, website design and build, email marketing campaigns
Branding
Liberate I.T. already had a logo, but it did not accurately reflect the dynamic personality of their company. They hired us to create a brand set which showed their vibrancy alongside their technical expertise.
One of the only key requirements the client asked for was that we included a star motif. Their old branding had included one, and while they wanted to depart from that brand set, they liked the playful nature of a star.
Because Liberate I.T. were selling NetSuite, a high-end SAAS solution, we had a challenge in that the subject matter was very technical, and often associated with very corporate ideas. As a means of combating this we utilised bright colours, as well as imagery that showed children in entrepreneurial settings.
Liberate I.T. frequently appeared at trade shows and other in-person events, which meant that the brand needed to be suitable for print as well as web.

Website Design and Build
This website was designed with messaging, and technical performance, in mind.
This website needed to fulfill several purposes. Not only did it need to be effective as a brochure site, it also needed to house a series of product webinars, and provide the functionality to sign up for webinars in the future.
In addition to designing the visual elements, we also wrote the content for this site. One of the biggest issues with the previous version was that the content was written for a very technical audience. While part of the target audience fit this description, there was a whole other sector that needed a more understandable approach.
A mobile-first build was a priority for us, as we identified that while this is always important, it was even more so for a client based in the tech industry. The final build was fully optimised for page speed and appropriate content load on all devices. We utilised CDN content serving, dynamic image compression, and made a point of meeting accessibility requirements.
Liberate I.T. has since merged with another company, and so their site is no longer live. We continued to work with them over several years and contributed to many of their marketing campaigns and collateral.

Email Marketing
After the branding and website were completed, the next part of the Liberate I.T. rollout was email marketing
Previously Liberate I.T. had tried to keep up with regular newsletters but had struggled to do this effectively. We created a full content strategy that highlighted industry insights, news from within the company, upcoming events, and other important updates. This was then packaged in a monthly email newsletter called the Info Hub.
Liberate I.T. practiced what they preached, and thus all of their own business processes ran through NetSuite as well. This meant that the newsletters needed to be created in a way that was suitable for sending out from this system. The solution for that was that we built the Info Hub from scratch using HTML and in-line CSS, rather than using a template platform.
