Branding
The brief for this branding project was detailed, with a number of specific requests from the client to factor in.
Firstly, the client asked for a limited palette of earth tones, and they specifically requested the inclusion of farming animals.
The target market for Rural Assist is farmers and those involved in the agricultural sector. Because of this we decided to go for an aesthetic that is professional but not corporate, refined but not too formal.
We also knew that this branding would need to be suitable for a number of applications, so we created several variations of it to suit different purposes.

Website Design and Build
This website was designed and built for an agricultural health and safety business based in Palmerston North.
After designing the branding for Rural Assist, we also created their website. This needed to be a brochure website that highlighted their services while also bringing focus to their points of difference from their competitors.
In addition to designing the visual elements, we also wrote the majority of the content for the site in consultation with the client. This meant we needed to get to understand their business enough to be able to speak to their customer base effectively and accurately.
We prioritised performance optimisation on both mobile and desktop, while maintaining interesting visual elements in each core site section. We also made a point of ensuring the site is accessible for all users, and set up for high quality usability.
Built using WordPress. Optimised for page speed, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness. It utilised CDN content serving, image compression optimisation, and dynamic loading to aid in its speed.

SEO Strategy and Implementation
We have built this site to be in line with SEO requirements, and have taken extra measures to ensure it performs well in this space.
This includes in-page optimisations such as image compression and caching, custom metadata for every page based on keyword research, and writing quality content. We have also ensured that accessibility is appropriately addressed throughout the site.
External to the site itself, we have created and are actively managing the Google Business Profile associated with Rural Assist.
We have also created a landing page that will be utilised for paid Google Ads promoting specific services.
