Virtual Project Management
Virtual Project Management
You’ve landed a great project, your team is keen to get stuck in… but where do you start?
Aotearoa is a country of ‘doers’. Many entrepreneurs venture out on their own after learning their craft or trade, but don’t have much experience with running a team or managing projects. So what do you do when you can’t afford a full-time project manager, but you’re not sure how to run a project?
This is the perfect time to bring in an external resource that does what you need, but only what you need.
How it works
One of the most common struggles we hear about is knowing how to break a project down into manageable, actionable steps, how to prioritise those steps, and how to budget for them accordingly. Therefore this is where we start; getting a full view of the project scope. Once we have the scope clarified, we can start to create a project roadmap for all of the known factors.
But what about the unknown? Any good project manager knows it’s inevitable things will come up that were not anticipated, or that force plans to be updated. So what then? How do we make sure these things are taken care of without requiring a full-time hire to be involved? This is by using a combined approach of initial strategy, and ongoing collaboration. As the project progresses we can facilitate remotely, spending an agreed upon number of hours, to ensure that things are taken care of.
You don’t need all the bells and whistles, but we will make sure you have the ones you do.
